Late at night in Wuhan, I stumbled upon a captivating sight—a radiant red food stall nestled in a quiet residential area. The red shaded LED light bulbs hanging from the stall, the red cut-out letters on the glass, and the bright red seasoned duck meat all contributed to the immersive red ambiance. The chairs, too, were chosen in shades of red. As a business traveler, this scene exuded an authentic Chinese atmosphere. Interestingly, the stall powered its operations using electricity generated from scooters, showcasing the versatility of electric vehicles as portable power sources.

武漢の深夜、人気の少ない住宅街の中に赤裸々と光る屋台に出くわしました。屋台に吊るされているのは赤い傘に入ったLED電球だが、ガラスに貼ってある赤い切文字と、真っ赤に味付けされた鴨肉が相まって、屋台が全体的に赤く発光しているのでした。椅子までも赤で徹底しています。出張者として本場中国、というような光景でした。ちなみに、電気はスクーターから調達。電気スクーターはポータブルな電源にもなるのですね。
