I visited Karuizawa's Harunire Terrace on a day when it was cloudy with some rain. At first, I felt a bit lonely, but I soon noticed the special beauty that the rain had created, and started feeling a sense of joy.

The colorful umbrellas above, reflected on the wet ground, looked like a mirror at my feet. Unlike the strong sunlight, the cloudy sky with light rain added a gentle touch to the surroundings. It was a moment when I realized the charm of rainy days and noticed the diversity in things around me, something I had overlooked when it was sunny.

軽井沢のハルニレテラス。あいにくの雨で最初は少し寂しく感じたが、その雨こそがもたらした特別な風景を見ることができて心が高鳴った。

地面が濡れているからこそ映る上に広がるカラフルな傘たちは、まるで足元の鏡のようで美しかった。強い陽の光とは対照的に、雨が降る曇り空は穏やかにあたりを彩ってくれる。これまで晴れの日にしか目を向けなかった私だったが、雨の中の魅力にも気づくことができた。
